Sir John Borlase, 2nd Baronet

Sir John Borlase, 2nd Baronet (1642 – 1 February 1689) was an English politician.

Born in Bockmer in Buckinghamshire, he was the son of Sir John Borlase, 1st Baronet and Alice Bancks. He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford, where he matriculated on 31 July 1658. On 8 August 1672, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy. From 1673 to 1681, he was Member of Parliament (MP) for Wycombe and from 1685 to 1689 for Great Marlow. Borlase died unmarried and was buried in Stratton Audley in Oxfordshire. With his death the baronetcy became extinct.
