The efficacy of antidepressant medication for most depressed patients is undeniable. However, some experts feel that medication alone is not the answer. "There's an enormous emphasis on the biological aspects of depression," notes Harold Goldstein, training director for the NIMH-sponsored Depression Awareness, Recognition and Treatment (D/ART) Program.
