Barney Dalton

A winger, Dalton played for the Eastern Suburbs club side in the years (1910-12) and (1914-15). Dalton was a member of Eastern Suburbs first premiership winning side, after defeating Glebe in the final of the competition in 1911 and backed up the following season as Easts took there second title. The winger was also a member of the Easts' sides that won City Cups in 1914 and 1915.

Dalton,was reportedly mixed up with some of Sydneys earliest crime figures, a member of the Kate Leigh's Razor gang, he was shot dead outside Sydneys, Strand Hotel, in 1929.
