Sean Geoffrey Clingeleffer (born May 9, 1980) in Hobart, Tasmania is an Australian cricket player, who plays for the Tasmanian Tigers. He plays his club cricket for North Hobart Cricket Club.

Sean Clingeleffer is one of the best "next-generation" wicket-keepers in Australia, although he is probably behind Brad Haddin in terms of Australian selection. He established himself as Mark Atkinson's successor, and became the number one keeper in both the first class and one-day teams for the Tigers. Although a difficult batsman to remove, his defensive style can be construed as slow. In recent seasons the Tigers have opted not to play a specialist keeper in the one-day side, and Clingeleffer lost his spot for more specialist batsmen, agonisingly costing his a role in the victorious ING Cup winning side of 2004-05. Despite this, he retains his role in the first class team, and improved batting could see him return to the one-day side, with a view to pushing for national selection.

After eight seasons with the tigers and being a major part of their success in the Pura Cup Final in 2006-07 - scoring a century, he was dropped in 2007-08 after scoring 103 runs in five matches, he was subsequently not offered a contract for the 2008-09 season.
