"Prelude to History" is the second studio album by German pop group Preluders, released on September 27, 2004 (see 2004 in music) on Polydor's sublabel Cheyenne Records. It was entirely co-produced by Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen, and Gena Wernik and included a collection of cover versions of songs from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. The album saw minor success with a peak position of number 44 on the Germany albums chart, and spawned two moderately successful singles with double A-side "Walking on Sunshine/Call Me, Beep Me", and a remake of The Contours' "Do You Love Me".
