Kingborough Cricket Club

Kingborough Cricket Club

Kingborough District Cricket Club (KDCC) also known as the "Knights" represent Kingborough in Tasmania's Grade Cricket Competition.

The Knights have experienced great success over the last two Tasmanian seasons, winning back-to-back First Grade Premierships. Additionally in the 07/08 season, Kingborough's Third Grade side finished premiers, while the Second Grade side were runners up.

The KDCC pride themselves on a very successful junior set-up in the club. Being based in one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia only helps this and in the 07/08 season Kingborough boasted over 300 registered players under the age of 15. The benefits of fostering this local junior talent are coming to bare already with nine of the past two First Grade premiership team members coming through the junior ranks at the club over the past number of years.
