Robert Galbraith was a United States Navy Gunner's Mate, 3rd class awarded the Medal of Honor for actions on 12-13 September 1899 during the Philippine-American War. Gunner's Mate Galbraith is buried in the Long Island National Cemetery.

:For extraordinary heroism and gallantry while under fire of the enemy at El Pardo, Cebu, Philippine Islands, 12 and 13 September 1899.

:Gunner's Mate Galbraith's citation lists his date of birth as "18 February 1880" while his actual date of birth was "'17 February 1878".
