The third day of the Lunar New Year (農曆年初三) is an official holiday in Hong Kong and is the day following the The second day of the Lunar New Year (農曆年初二). According to Buddhist tradition, on this day, it is easy to get into arguments, probably from eating fried food or from visiting families on the first two days of the new year.
