John Williams (born 1959) is a radio talk show host at WGN (AM) in Chicago, Illinois. As of August 2007, he is the host of "The World of John Williams" weekdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to noon.

Early life

Retrieved 2006-12-28.] Williams attended grade school in various places while his father was in the Air Force, but the family moved back to Joliet, Illinois after his father's Air Force retirement.

Williams graduated from Minooka High School, then from Joliet Junior College where his father was a school counselor. Radio career

Williams worked briefly at WSPY (AM), a small station in Plano, Illinois, then WMBD (AM) in Peoria, Illinois.

Like fellow WGN personalities Greg Batton and Yvonne Greer, Williams spent several years at WMBD in Peoria.
