Robin Barcus Slonina (born
19 April 1971 ) (married to Jim Slonina in 2007) is a multi-disciplinary, contemporary artist raised in theChicago area, known mostly for the "State of Dress" project, her ongoing series of interactive, site-specific dress sculptures. She received herBachelor of Fine Arts fromThe School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1993. She currently resides in Las Vegas, NV.Barcus-Slonina's work has been exhibited at the Evanston Arts Center in
Evanston, IL , the John Michael Kohler Arts Center inSheboygan, WI , theSmart Museum of Art in Chicago, IL, Atomic Todd Gallery in Las Vegas, NV as well as many other galleries and museums.Published Reviews
