Ceridian Canada

Ceridian Canada is a payroll services provider headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The company also provides HR management, employee assistance programs (EAP), recruitment, staffing and training.

Ceridian purchased Comcheq, a Winnipeg computerized payroll provider in 1997. The name was changed to Ceridian Canada and became part of Ceridian worldwide operations. Ceridian has its world headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Ceridian Corporation itself is a descendant of Control Data Corporation.

In October 2008, Ceridian was named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc., and was featured in Maclean's newsmagazine. Later that month, Ceridian was named one of Manitoba's Top Employers, which was announced by the Winnipeg Free Press newspaper.[1]
