Shasta Costa (tribe)

The Shasta Costa is a Native American tribe, made up of small bands of people, from southwestern Oregon, who originally lived on the tributaries and rivers near the Rogue River. In 1856, members of the tribe were sent to the Siletz Reservation or Grand Ronde Reservation. The descendants of the Shasta Costa are now a part of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz.
