Mister America (DC Comics)
- Mister America (DC Comics)
Mister America is the name of three fictional DC Comics superheroes:
*Tex Thompson, the Golden Age Mister America, first appeared on June 1938 in "Action Comics" # 1.
*Trey Thompson, first appeared in "Justice Society of America" vol. 3 #1 (February 2007). He was an FBI special agent who took justice into his own hands after a murderer he captured went free. A metahuman gun-for-hire named Catalyst murders his wife, son, daught, brother and sister-in-law, under the orders of Vandal Savage. Savage murders Thompson himself in the following issue, "Justice Society of America" vol. 3 #2 (March 2007). Apparently this Mr. America was related to his predecessor, Tex Thompson, as Dr. Mid-Nite states that the Thompson family tree has been cut down and the bloodline of Mr. America is gone.
*Jeffrey Graves, Trey's former FBI contact, can be seen donning Mr. America's mask in "Justice Society of America" (vol. 3) # 4 after he is fired due to his connection with Trey. In issue #6 it was confirmed that Graves took up the mantle of Mr. America. He stumbled into Justice Society Headquarters at the end of Justice Society of America vol. 3 #12, seeking help to defeat his mysterious pursuer.
