John Ordway (ambassador)

John Malcom Ordway (born in California) has served as the Ambassador of the United States to Kazakhstan since September 2004. He served as the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia from November 2001 to August 2004. [http://www.usembassy.kz/ambassador Ambassador John M. Ordway] Embassy of the United States in Astana, Kazakhstan]

Ordway graduated from Stanford University in 1972 and the University of California's Hastings College of Law in 1975. He speaks Russian, French, Italian, Czech and Armenian.
