Tom Amstutz (born August 30 1955) is the head football coach at the University of Toledo. He is one of Toledo's most popular figures, as he has lived his entire life in Toledo.fact|date=June 2008 Amstutz has been Toledo's head football coach since 2001, and has posted a 55–32 (.632) record, including a 37–18 record in conference play. He also served as a long time assistant coach at Toledo from 1977 to 1986 and from 1990 to 2000.

From 1987 to 1989, Amstutz served as an assistant coach at Navy.

Amstutz also played college football at Toledo.
