Shree Shivaji Education Society is the largest Educational society in vidarbha.It was established by Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh at Amrawati.Now this society is one of the largest education society in India.This society has arts,commerce,Science colleges.Along with a medical college at Amaravati and Management college at Nagpur.It has a widespread network of school and colleges in Vidarbha.
The medicle college admission are stopped by Medicle Council due to cooruption made by the past members of executive body and present members of executive body. Many of them have purchased bunglows or flats in Nagpur,Bombay and Pune from the coorution.The prominent names are Mr A.B.Burghate, Mr.Vasantrao Dhotre,Mr Sudhir Patil., Mr Rajabhau Deshmukh.etc and the list goes on.The top corrupted officials are Dr.P.R.Somvanshi, Mr Sudhakar Deshpande, Mr Shaste, Dr Baban Tayvade, Dr T.S.Thakare, Mr Bagal who is just a clerk and his property is more than 2 corer Rs. etc, who made money from corruption in the society.
