Khajipalem

Khajipalem is a village located near Bapatla in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It has a population of around 1000 people spread over an area of 0.5 sq.km. It is situated 8km(direct distance) from the beach as a result of which cool breezes mesmerize its residents even in hot summers. As a result many outsiders prefer to holiday there for the environment and ambience. It's populace are mainly dependent on farming in the lands they have acquired from their ancestors.

It is an educational hub for that area having two well established english medium schools, a junior college, government high school, an elementary school and a telugu medium school in addition to the undergraduate and post graduate college (K.V.R. & M.K.R. College - [www.kvrkvrmkr.com] ). This college is very popular in Bapatla Taluk which is maintained was founded in 1981. The village is known for its famous temple of lord Shiva. Other temples include a temple of Lord Rama, Narasimha swamy and that of village deity, Ennadamma Talli. It is well connected to nearby towns and cities with good transportation facilities and excellent roads.

Four beautiful cheruvulu, two canals, coconut farms and vast extents of greenery provide the perfect background for the ultimate village experience. The hospitality of the people and the traditional values they hold and the implementation of traditional practices like kodi pandaalu, jataras, tiranalas etc., redefine the meaning of south-indian village and indian tradition. With a perfect blend of tradition and modernity it is one of the beautiful places on the face of earth to live in.

It is having a panchayati office, Alluri Sitarama Raju statue and one picture hall founded by Bhuddam Krishnam Raju. A veterinary hospital was located in the outer side of the village where the route leads to ramanagaram. A wonderful village to live.
