Yelena Dembo

Yelena Dembo (born December 8 1983, in Penza, Russia) is a Greek International Master of chess, who has also represented Hungary.

On the July 2008 FIDE rating list for women, she is ranked 43rd in the world, with a rating of 2431. She became a Woman Grandmaster when she was 17 years old, and an International Master at age 19. Dembo lived in Russia, Israel and Hungary, before moving to Athens with her Greek husband. She was Women's Champion of Hungary in 2003.
