- Brenda Walker
Brenda Walker was born in Grafton,
New South Wales in1957 . She studied at the University of New England in Armidale and, after gaining a PhD in English (on the work ofSamuel Beckett ) at theAustralian National University , she moved to Perth in 1984. She is now Associate Professor in English and Cultural Studies at theUniversity of Western Australia . She has been a Visiting Fellow at Stanford University.Brenda Walker is the sister of songwriter and musician
