There is also the small village of trou d'eau douce, from where visitors take boats for tours on
Ile aux cerfs island BelleMare plage beach, an exotic beach with white sand and nice lagoon attracts a lot of mauritians and tourists. Leading internationally reputed hotels namely O&O Le Saint Geran, Belle Mare Plage, Le Prince Maurice and others are found on the coastline of the Flacq district.
