Carrot2

Carrot² is a search results clustering engine and an [http://www.carrot2.org open source project] developed by [http://stanislaw.osinski.name/ Stanisław Osiński] and [http://www.cs.put.poznan.pl/dweiss Dawid Weiss] .

The project's goals are to organize search results automatically into sensible and useful clusters (groups of related documents). Several algorithms are available in the system, most notably the Lingo algorithm.

Commercial Spin-off

Commercial spin off of the Carrot² project is a company called [http://www.carrot-search.com Carrot Search] . It provides more efficient and powerful versions of the open source text mining algorithms available in the Carrot² project while still maintaining the latter.
