Michael Anderson (born 17 November 1950 in Boulder, Colorado) is a Professor of Mathematics in State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is a differential geometer working on geometrization of 3-manifolds, general relativity, Einstein metrics and AdS/CFT correspondence et cetera.
Anderson got his BA from UC Santa Barbara his MA from UC Berkeley and his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley as well.[1]
Andreson is married to Myong Hi Kim and they have one child, Steven.[1]
