Earle Edwards

Earle Edwards

Earle Edwards(1909 to 1997) was the head football coach at NC State from 1954 to 1970, making him the longest tenured coach in school history. In his 17 seasons, he compiled a 78-87-7 record. He holds school records for wins(78), losses(87), and games coached(173). His teams have won three ACC titles, and made two Liberty Bowl appearances. He won 4 ACC coach of the year awards.
