Verrazano Bridge (Maryland)

The Verrazano Bridge in Maryland is a bridge on Maryland Route 611 over Sinepuxent Bay that connects Assateague Island to the mainland. Like the larger and more famous Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, it is named after Giovanni da Verrazzano.
