Adamstown Heights is a southern suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, located convert|8|km|mi|0|lk=on west-southwest of Newcastle's central business district along the Pacific Highway. It is split between the City of Lake Macquarie and City of Newcastle local government areas.

The suburb contains two schools, Kotara High School, established in 1968 and containing 3 hectares of native bushland, and Belair Primary School. The suburb is served by Westfield Kotara, formerly Garden City Kotara ("Gardo"), and originally Kotara Fair, on its northern border.

Adamstown Heights is located on several bus routes and is near two stations on the Newcastle and Central Coast railway line, Kotara and Adamstown.

Perhaps the most infamous resident of Adamstown Heights is Emily Roberts. An art student at Newcastle Art School, part of Hunter TAFE, Emily has exhibited throughout Newcastle to much acclaim. Emily has two older siblings, Jodie Roberts-Chapman, currently residing in Baltimore, MD, USA, with husband Thomas Chapman, Jodie is working as a social worker in the Baltimore area and has no plans for children yet. Emily's brother, Jamie Roberts, is currently living in Melbourne, VIC, where he is currently studying Law at Monash University. Jamie has also had a brief rush of fame for his three times appearance on the Network Seven's television show Wheel of Fortune. Unfortunately Jamie was not able to win any major prizes, but escaped with minor prizes such as a bar fridge, a car care package, and pillows.
