Brian Limond, (born 20 October, 1974) better known as Limmy, is a Glasgow-based comedian. Limmy first became known through his website and its accompanying blog. A recent successful daily podcast, "Limmy's World of Glasgow", has resulted in Limmy receiving interest from the mainstream UK media. Scottish culture magazine "The List" listed Limmy at number 14 in their Hot 100 list of 2006, which celebrates the people who have made the biggest impact on cultural life in Scotland over a 12-month period. In 2006, Limmy took to the stage for two sold out appearances at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. His shows at Blackfriars sold out due to word of mouth alone and he was featured for BBC2's The Culture Show as part of their coverage.

He has also introduced the Australian rock outfit Jet twice. Once at their appearance at the Carling Academy Glasgow on March 3rd and once at their appearance in the "King Tut's Tent" at the Scottish music festival T in the Park. At their Carling Academy gig, Limmy performed an a cappella version of their global smash 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl?', complete with air guitar. At T in the Park, he walked onto the stage acting as a sound engineer testing microphones then unexpectedly burst into song before saying "Ladies and Gentlemen, Jet!"

Before the band's gig at the Carling Academy, Limmy and Chris Cester, drummer from Jet, re-enacted one of Limmy's sketches "Gie's Yer Jaikit". This video, and the original, can both be seen from Limmy's website.

Limmy after a successful year of shows is writing a new show for next year. He recently appeared in Consolevania and Videogaiden playing a character called Zack Eastwood.
