(2003)Numb Nuts is an album by English punk rock band, Snuff. It was released in March 2000 on American independent label, Fat Wreck Chords.
The term "numb nuts" was also used in Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket" (1987) by actor R. Lee Ermey, who played Senior Drill Instructor Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.
In 81st Scripps National Spelling Bee, Sameer Mishra, from Lafayette, Indiana, mistakenly heard the word numnah, which is a word that means a sheepskin put on top of a horse, as Numb Nut. He eventually got the word right, after clarification, and went on to win the Spelling Bee.[1]
