Sidney Street is a retired aerospace engineer, currently residing in Hacienda Heights, California. In 2006, he won the Republican nomination for the House of Representatives as an uncontested candidate in the 38th Congressional District. He squared off against four-term Democrat Grace Napolitano and lost in a landslide by a count of 75% to 25%.
His campaign theme was "Secure Our Borders."
