Sandy Valley High School is a public high school in Magnolia, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Sandy Valley Local Schools district. Its mascot is a cardinal and its colors are red and gray. The cardinal is also Ohio's state bird and red and gray are also Ohio's state colors. A new high school building is in the works and should be open at the beginning of 2009.

Sandy Valley currently offers 5 Advanced Placement (AP) courses: AP Liturature and Composition, AP Calculus AB, AP Biology, AP French Language, and AP Spanish Language.

The Boys Cross Country team has made it to state 5 of the past 8 years and to regionals for the last 8 years. They won the league in 2007.The Girls Cross Country team made it to state in 2007. They have won the league the past 3 years.The Wrestling team has won the league conference for past 7 straight years (2002- 2008)The Track team has sent athletes to state the past two years and have had three state champions: Joe Crallie (1995), Jason Calkins (year), and Mike Coates (2004).
