McCann Barracks

Mc Can Barracks, Templemore, Co. Tipperary Ireland is the site of the Garda Síochána College the centre for training An Garda Síochána, Ireland's police force. It also houses a small detachment of the Irish Army Reserve. Currently it is only the section occupied by the army which is known as Mc Can Barracks. It is named after Pierse Mc Can who fought in the Irish War of Independence.
