French Culinary Institute and TheItalian Culinary Academy , The International Culinary Center was created to continue the tradition of The FCI while also providing a solid platform for expansion into additional programs and areas of study.Located in
Soho ,New York City , the newly renovated center for culinary arts has been expanded to include a total of four floors of facilities, effectively doubling their teaching space. It also includes the award-winning L'Ecole restaurant on the ground floor (featuring fare from FCI students) as well as the International Culinary Theater that frequently hosts events, forums and lectures from famous graduates such asBobby Flay and others.Currently focusing on French and Italian cuisine, available cooking classes and programs through the International Culinary Center include:

The French Culinary Institute offers both career and amateur courses in
French cuisine . Career courses include their famed Classic Culinary Arts (designed byJacques Pepin }, as well as Classic Pastry Arts (designed by Jacques Torres), and The Art of International Bread Baking. Vocational training through the FCI offers an innovative, accelerated learning format (known as their Total Immersion approach) that allows graduation within 6 months (for day students) or 9 months (for evening students).A variety of popular amateur courses are also available through The FCI, ranging from 2 to 22 sessions.
The Italian Culinary Academy

Cesare Casella , the International Culinary Center's new Italian Culinary Academy offers a unique curriculum inItalian cuisine . The benchmark course of this new program is The Italian Culinary Experience, a groundbreaking, immersive course in Italian cuisine and culture which includes training at ALMA (The International School of Italian Cuisine) in Parma, Italy, as well as an apprenticeship at a noted Italian restaurant (also located in Italy). Language training is conducted in tandem with culinary training. Students will gain conversational Italian skills with special emphasis on the words and ideas that will be of service in a busy Italian kitchen. A la carte courses in the essentials of Italian cooking are also available for both career as well as amateur chefs.External links
