Reynolds was born in

He began skating at age four.
Reynolds won the Canadian nationals at the novice level in 2003 at age 12. The next year, he was fourth at the junior level, giving him a spot on the Junior National Team. This earned him a spot to the Junior Grand Prix, where he placed 5th at his first event. At Nationals, he moved up to second place at the junior level.
The following season, he improved on his Junior Grand Prix showing, then made his senior debut at Nationals. He placed 9th, earning himself a trip to the Junior Worlds. He placed 7th there after landing a quadruple salchow in the free skate.
In the 2006-2007 season, he won the Junior Grand Prix in Mexico and placed second in Chinese Taipei. Reynolds trains at the
BC Centre of Excellence , where he is coached by Joanne McLeod andBruno Marcotte . He is currently the only Canadian skater to have two quadruple jumps. He has been assigned to two Grand Prix events for 2007-2008.At the 2008 Canadian Championships, Reynolds landed a quad-triple-triple combination in his free program, setting off a national record. He is the second skater in the world, under Code of Points, to land the combination in competition, after
