NAFC

NAFC

The North American Football Confederation was a forerunner to the CONCACAF as the governing body of football in North America until 1961, when it merged with the CCCF/Confederacion Centroamericana y del Caribe de Futbol to form CONCACAF.

The NAFC name was revived briefly in the early 1990s to determine a North American champion. The revival was abandoned with the creation of the Gold Cup.

NAFC Championship

Four tournaments were held under the NAFC banner. The winners were:

* 1947 - Mexico
* 1949 - Mexico
* 1990 - Canada
* 1991 - Mexico
