The mountain are made up of rocks with soil colours being orange-like, tan and light brown. The mountain contains slopes and a few ledges. The mountain features no vegetation and are surrounded by desert. The mountain's elevation is only around 96 m and offers a panoramic views of much of the island including several villages as well as Espargos, its airport and Santa Maria. Several low system of hills forms a strip northwest of the island, the rest of the area are flat lands. The
