It is 18 miles southeast of Ghazni city in the Ghazni province of Afghanistan. The airfield lies in a valley 2 miles northwest of lake Mota Khan. While in use during the Russian occupation of Afghanistan, this airstrip no longer exists. There are no structures to support it and there is no visible air strip any longer. It is only desert.
