Thirumalagiri, also called Thonda Thirumalagiri is a mandal headquarters in Nalgonda district, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Thirumalagiri comes under the assembly constituency of Thungathurthi, this town is on the way from Suryapet to Jangaon, 45 km (28 miles) from each town.

Thirumalagiri has two parts, one is Old Thirumalagari and the second is Thirumalagiri 'X' road (also called cross road) from 'X' road one road goes to Suryapet, one road goes to Thorrur, one road goes to Hyderabad via Mothkur and one road goes to Jangaon via old Thirumalagiri. The distance between Hyderabad and Thirumalagiri is around 105 km 66 miles). It is a regional trade centre for all the surrounding villages, Thandas. The cross road is a hub for all sorts of shops; hotels, businesses and real estate. A police station, an MRO office, an MEO office and a Mandal office are all located in 'X' road.

It is basically an agricultural town with little food processing industry, mainly rice mills, vegetable oil mills. Wet paddy is the major crop, other crops include Ground nut,red chillies, cotton, green gram, castor and other vegetables and pulses.its adeveloping town. Marketing of natural goods is major source. This town consists of petrol pumps (HPCL and IOC). Paddy marketing is the major resource. Though majority of the people are Hindus the town has substantial presence of Muslims, and a little Christian community. Lord Venketewara temple and Anjaneya swamy temple on thirumalahills are very famous in local.Shivalayam of Lord Shiva which is located in the Old village is also famous. Every Wednesday there is vegetable and Cattle market setup in between old and new Thirumalagiri, which is very big in mandal.Agricultural market in Thirumalagiri is also very famous, local farmers and farmers from all other surrounding villages come and sell their crop products in this market.

The population is around 12,000. Apart from the town population, it has a floating population of approximately 2,000 from the neighbouring villages daily.

*Education :It is a center for education, apart from High school many other private schools and Private Intermediate, degree colleges are there. Pupils from all other neighbor villages come and study here. It is turning out into a regional education hub with schools and colleges mushrooming.Three junior colleges are there in Thirumalagiri, they are : SRI RAGHAVENDRA JUNIOR COLLEGE, GOUTHAMI JUNIOR COLLEGE and THIRUMALA JUNIOR COLLEGE.
* Transportation : Primary transportation to and from the town is provided by APSRTC, a state run road transport corporation. APSRTC has one main busstand in Thirumalagiri and sixmore bus stops for passengers convenience. Secondary transportation is also available in the form of private vehicles. There are many autorickshaws available to commute within the town, mainly from Old Thirumalagiri to 'X' road ( cross road).
* Now many private tours and travels buses also going via Thirumalagiri.
* Hospitals : Thirumalagiri is famous for hospitals and their services. Many hospitals such as Govt. Hospital, Chinnapa Reddy hospital, Kota Chalam hospital and many more small private hospitals offer services to the localities and neighbouring people.
