Bruce Eva (born 17 March 1968) an Australian sports journalist and radio presenter. He used to be a co-host with Mark Fine on 'Beva and Finey's Final Siren' on SEN1116.
Writing career
In 1986 Eva began work at "The Herald" and joined the
sports writing area in March 1988, a position he held until April 1991. Among his coverage included boxing, tennis, Australian rules football, cricket, golf, basketball and athletics.Eva then became a freelance writer for various newspapers, until he became editor of "
Inside Football " late in 1998 (after joining the publication in 1996). He has also written for theAFL Record and the official AFL website, as well as having 3 published books.Radio career
Eva has commentated
Australian Football League matches for theNational Indigenous Radio Service and early in 2004 joinedSEN 1116 . He took over the afternoon shift before taking over the evening shift in SeptemberEva was very popular with the public and his sacking was a shock.
