Jenny Offill (born in 1968) is an American
author born in Massachusetts and raised in California and North Carolina. Her stories have appeared in Story, Gettysburg Review, The Black Warrior Review, and Boulevard. She was a Stegner Fellow atStanford University from 1991 to 1993.Offill's first novel "Last Things" was published in 1999 by
