webERP is an open source ERP system for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME).

The application and source code is provided based on the GNU General Public License.

webERP is a web-based LAMP application with the goals being:

A light-weight HTTP/S interface suitable for both high and low speed Internet connections.Little or no use of java or javascript.Strong data integrity/security via innodb database type, and a full history on all transactions.

The latest release is 3.09, released in June 2008. This version includes:
* Multi-currency bank accounts
* An API for external applications to interface with webERP
* Audit trail logging of user actions
* Improved error handling and reporting across many scripts
* Changes to attempt to circumvent XSS attacks
* Configuration parameter to prevent processing a transaction that might result in system reporting a negative inventory quantity

Version 3.08 included:
*Manufacturing work orders with auto or manual issue of materials to works orders
*User definable properties by inventory category
*Hierarchical general ledger account groupings
*Option to prohibit transactions that would take inventory quantity negative
*Reference to customer purchase order by line - previously only the whole order could be referenced
*Customer delivery date by line - previously only delivery date for the whole order
*General Ledger budget entry screen added - previously had to be imported manually

The code base has been stable for some years.
