Lake Towuti in 1930

Lake Towuti (Indonesian: Danau Towuti) is a lake in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is located at 2°45′0″S 121°30′0″E / 2.75°S 121.5°E / -2.75; 121.5. Surrounded by mountains, it's the largest lake of the island of Sulawesi and one of the five lakes of the Malili Lake system. A river flows from the lake to the Boni Bay. The town Laronda is located on its shore.
