"Annona coriacea" (fruta-do-conde in Portuguese) is a tree native to Brazil, which is native to Cerrado, Caatinga, and Pantanal vegetation in Brazil, and its wood is useful, for makes constructions and toys. This plant is cited in Flora Brasiliensis by Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius.
