DVD-Handycam

The DVD-Handycam is a video camera brand by Sony which uses a direct DVD-recording. It was released in early 2005 in many retail stores. Later, the "Handycam" name was also used for Sony's Mini DV, Hard Disk Drive (HDD)cameras, Digital8 and the Hi8.
