coffee table book published by theIceland ic singer and composer Björk Guðmundsdóttir that went on sale in August 2001, coinciding with the release of her album "Vespertine ".The book was designed by a famous French graphic design firm called
M/M Paris ."Björk" is a photo documentary of the artist and her rise to
stardom . The book doesn't follow a chronological order and is accompanied by photographs selected to illustrate the creative process.The book is divided into 3 sections:
*Photography: photographs of Björk taken byNick Knight ,Inez Van Lamsweerde andVinoodh Matadin , Araki,Chris Cunningham , Juergen Teller, and Craig McDean, among others.
*Words: fragments of text and an interview conducted by Björk with her inspirational heroDavid Attenborough .
*Contributions ('Four Pages for Björk'): a section for each one of the contributors during Björk's career.
