"Sky's the Limit" is the third single from The Notorious B.I.G.'s second album "Life After Death". It features vocals from 112 and somber production from Clark Kent. It contains a sample from the song "My Flame" by Bobby Caldwell and "Keep On" by D. Train. The lyrics deal with Notorious B.I.G.'s tough upbringing and how he made it in life. About ten years later, an identical instrumental would be used for fellow Bad Boy artist Cheri Dennis' "Dropping Out Of Love" for her debut album "In and Out of Love".

Music video

Following the death of B.I.G., Bad Boy Records decided to release a video for the single. It was directed by Spike Jonze. Children resembling Biggie Smalls, Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, and Lil' Kim, among others, were casted and the video was filmed at a mansion in the US. The video has become highly popular since its release and can still be seen on modern music video channels such as MTV, BET and VH1.
