Journey Under the Sea

"Journey Under the Sea" is a gamebook (a form of narrative, usually written in the second person, that allows the reader to participate in the story by choosing various narrative paths using numbered references) in the Choose Your Own Adventure series. It was written by R.A. Montgomery and was originally published in 1979 as the second book in the original Choose Your Own Adventure series, published by Bantam Books. It was republished in 2005 as part of the relaunched series of Choose Your Own Adventure Books, published by Chooseco. It is the second book in the republished series. The text was updated in the new version to reflect changes in technology since the book's original release.

Plot

The plot of "Journey Under the Sea" involves a deep sea hunt for the lost continent of Atlantis. Several narrative possibilities include becoming lost at sea, fighting under-water creatures called Nodoors and becoming an attraction at an Atlantean zoo.
