The "Rhinoceros Times" is a weekly conservative news and opinion newspaper that published in in Greensboro, North Carolina. The newspaper maintains on-line editions in Greensboro and in Charlotte. A Charlotte print edition was discontinued in 2008.

The newspaper is edited by John Hammer and features editorial columns by noted science fiction and fantasy author Orson Scott Card and an investigative series by "New York Times" best-selling author Jerry Bledsoe. It is generally known for extensive coverage of local issues, explicit political opinions and a policy of publishing all letters regardless of content or political orientation.

The newspaper published two of the controversial Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons in February, 2006. "The Rhino" is owned by brothers John and William Hammer. The Greensboro Rhino Times refers to itself as "Greensboro's Only Newspaper," while the Charlotte edition's slogan is "Be more than an Observer". (Charlotte's daily paper is the "Charlotte Observer".)
