The CL&W Subdivision is a
railroad line owned and operated byCSX Transportation in theU.S. state ofOhio . The line runs from a junction with theNew Castle Subdivision at Sterling northwest to Lorain [ [http://web.archive.org/web/20030120051842/www.trainweb.org/csxtimetables/GreatLakes/CL&W.html CSX Timetables: CL&W Subdivision] ] along a formerBaltimore and Ohio Rail Road line (once theCleveland, Lorain and Wheeling Railway ). It junctions with theCleveland Subdivision at Lester and theGreenwich Subdivision at Grafton.History
The first piece, from Elyria morthwest to Lorain, was built by the
