Chethallur is an Indian village situated in Palakkad District of Kerala. The population of the village is around 5000. This village attained the media interest recently, because of the construction of the new muriyankanni bridge. This bridge may reduce the calicut- palakkad distance by around 10 km.

Chethallur Sri Panamkurussikavu is one of the famous Bhagavathi Temples in Kerala. Panamkurussikavu pooram is the main attraction at Chethallur. More than 40 elephants participate in "Ezhunnallippu" on final day of Pooram. The Pooram festival celebrating normally in March or April month of each year. 2007 Pooram will be celebrated on March 30.

Calicut is the nearest airport(100 km) while Angadippuram is the nearest Railway station (20 km).

It is believed that Naranath Bhranthan was born at Chethallur.

Famous Kathakali dance artists like Pattikkamthodi Ravunnimenon belongs to Chethallur.
