Tirame Jerome Walker

Tirame Jerome Walker (born September 14 1975 in Long Beach, California, U.S.) is an American professional basketball player, most recently playing for the Cheshire Jets in the British Basketball League, where he also occupied the role of head coach.

The 6ft1 point guard lit up the court at NAIA college Azusa pacific, where he was acknowledged nationally as an NAIA All American in 1998 and 1999. Acclaimed by many as the finest point guard in the league, his exciting style has won TJ many fans in his six years as in the BBL. He is the nephew of former NBA player James Hardy (Utah Jazz).

Walker signed for British club Newcastle Eagles in 2000 after a spell with International Basketball Association team Saskatchewan Hawks from 1999-2000. In 2007, after seven years with the Eagles, Walker was appointed as player/coach of rival club Cheshire Jets. However after just a few months with the Jets, Walker sustained a serious knee injury and returned to the USA for surgery. It was announced that in January 2008 that the player had parted ways by mutual consent.
