Nancy McKinstry

Nancy McKinstry (b. 4 January 1959 in Connecticut, USA, now living in Wassenaar, the Netherlands^[1]) is CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Wolters Kluwer. She holds an MBA (Finance & Marketing) from Columbia Business School, a Bachelor's degree in economics from University of Rhode Island (Phi Beta Kappa), and received a Doctor of Laws (honorary) from University of Rhode Island. Board memberships include Ericsson, MortgageIT, American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands, and TiasNimbas Business School. McKinstry serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Rhode Island and the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School.

In 2009 McKinstry was ranked number 16 on the Financial Times Top 50 Women in World Business List,^[2] and #43 on the Forbes list of 100 Most Powerful Women, on which she represents one of the two women from the Netherlands (the other being Neelie Kroes).^[3] In 2008, McKinstry was #13 on Fortune's International Power 50 list.^[4]
